Had the snip was awake, quite strange chatting about the weather with a bird well she got your plums in her hands 👍

I've got one booked , tried to sort it ages ago , thought COVID scuppered it but no the trainee Dr forgot to book me in so got a short reprieve. I'm doing it for the missus really as she has implant. But be glad when it's behind me 🤣

You,ll have no livers or kidneys left the way your going, all these drugs have an effect on your body’s internal organs, that’s why I apply home made cream and eat the best honey I can buy, last time

If we are doing “suffering top trumps” then I have had the big, sandpaper tipped cotton bud down my japs eye……let me tell you, that really does make your f***ing eyes water !

Mate i was screaming like a girl in hospital, nurse said we can give you a liquid pain killer or stick one up your tradesman’s !!!......i was on all fours before she finished the sentence !!!!!!

Anyone get tennis elbow, I get bouts of it now and again and I'm killed with it at the minute.

Any lasting fix or any tips to speed up recovery, I keep hearing about resting it but that's just not possible and isn't going to happen.

Hard as it sounds if you can get no rest from whatever the repetitive movement you are doing to cause it is then you need to find a way to do that movement differently........tendons dont have their own blood supply so rest is literally the only way, they now inject platelet rich plasma into the tendon just to create a ton of blood flow and along with basic light wrist exercises it speeds up the process a lot....ive had 2 different procedures one is where they put a needle into the damaged part of the tendon and liquify it,then its suctioned out,but that only partially worked and ended up having tiny incisions around the tendon for the damaged parts to be removed......the elbow is a complicated joint and like you say can be debilitating when its having to be constantly used.....as a hopeful quick fix home remedy look into basic wrist rolling exercises, ice & heat along with anti inflamm of course....best of luck.

Thanks gnasher, I've been doing exercises I've seen on the net and although it helps in the short term it seems to come back worse. I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and try and see my doctor but that's a right pain in the ass to do at the minute.

I'll give the hot and cold a go.

Mate I had it for about twenty year thought I was stuck with it sometimes could not even pick up a cup of tea. I bought a copper bracelet with magnets in it and it went in two weeks and has never come back mate fingers crossed.

Cheers Arry

Im gonna get one ordered arry because I'll give anything a go, this is the worst I've ever had it and like you say even lifting a cup becomes really painful.

I'll see what its like lifting a pint glass tomorrow and see if that's any easier. Lol.

I had cortisone in my elbow some years back like you I could not raise a cup to my mouth and had to change hands half way, after a couple of months I had an immense pain in my elbow and my arm started to turn black so off I trott to the quack and was told that the cortisone does something to your muscle and mine had torn away from the bone the blackening was blood on the inside, but ever since then the pain has never returned so I,m assuming the tear gave a bit of slack and stopped the pain, never had them again after that episode though, it’s a bit depressing getting old but I stick with use it or loose it, so I just push on through and so far things usually come back to some form of normality after a while, good luck with it, ps I also were copper  👍

Im a joiner and the 20oz eastwing is rarely outta my hand so I've no other option but to push on through lol.

Any other time it would last a couple of weeks and I'd just get out of bed one morning and it would be gone but not this time round, this is week 5 and it's starting to move up into my tricep.

I tried to get myself booked in, went through all the chat with the doctor and was just waiting on the referral thing to come through and the daft bint must have not sent it through properly.  Covid has been around since then but need to get sorted, it's a couple of kids too late but better late than never.

I had a f****d up rotor cuff and was in a lot of pain. Could only raise my arm half way up straight out. Was going to have cortisone injections as advised by the Dr. Then I was around this sports injury specialist place dropping something off and I mentioned how bad I was and that I was going to be injected. He had me in, shirt off, laid down, lots of manipulation of my back and neck and , bosh, I could raise my arm right up, couldn't believe it. This is him  https://www.garrytoms.com/
