My New Pride and Joy… Paul Short Stage 4 Tuned Hw97kt .22

Recommended Posts

- Titanium, glided Piston
- Fixed Stainless Spring Guide
- Titan Mainspring to 11.3 ft/lbs
- New seals
- Jewelled Comp Tube
- Trigger polished and adjusted

Before the rifle was a nightmare - especially as it was nearly new. It twanged like hell and was generally an unpleasant experience firing it. Compared to the vanilla TX200HC, it was pretty bad. Now, the rifle is transformed. It feels at least 40 per cent better than the TX ... super smooth and quiet. Tuned to 11.3ft/lbs. Running favourite diet of .22 AA Diablo in 5.52 flavour.

Some say tx doesn’t need work , but after speaking to a few who knows what they are talking , say different

I'm not a big fan of the tx as you know mitch

But they are good out of the box

But even better after a tune

Iv had 3 of them all tuned

But it's that bear trap that puts me off big time

As for the 97 nothing to say but

OUTSTANDING AND THEN SOME
