And ?……depends what at bloke wants to do with a dog either long term or on the day.

Sometimes you want to just kill some gear and sometimes you want to see how far you can push something……top class dogs can’t be knocked, they are so rare (imho) that it’s just foolish to try and knock them when you see them.

Thats why I questioned when you laughed at McHulls comment about 500 yd slip……I have seen an exceptional dog slipped on a fox that was bobbing along the edge of some forestry, on the lamp at around 300 yds and it killed it.

Used to do that regular on all sorts of things.

Top class animals can do top class things.

And? And that plenty of crosses of lurcher would catch kick-ups like I've seen on YouTube.

That doesn't mean a kick-up can't be a monster hare but if you're going to do what other folk do on a mooch then that's too easy IMO.

I was laughing at these 500 yards slips on the lamp, you can't realise how far that is.

Yes I do, maybe it 400 or something?…..I’m sure the bloke didn’t have a range finder ?, maybe he walked it after ?

Point is, because you have never seen it done don’t mean it can’t be done.

As C Green said earlier, get out and about right round the country on all types of terrain with blokes who ain’t clowns and you will learn something new every day……most of all you will learn that anything is possible with the right dog in the right hands.

So you shuffle on down to the kebab house you and the dog share a large kebab meat and chips with extra particles..

Then down to the bus stop to show the kids the pad vid..and then down the park to lamp rabbits with the akita ?

Then home struggling to carry the 25 rabbits the akita slaughtered..through the garden gate grab the shovel to pick up the human size shits the akita has dropped on the front lawn..

Back in the house crack open a bottle of vodka after half a bottle you start shoulder pressing the mother in law whilst holding her like a bowling ball..2 in the pink 1 in the stink. Then it's on with an Elton John album and you proceed to throw yourself  around kitchen knob in hand telling the family Elton is amazing..

That's some night greb fair play...

You think it was a super dog, was it feck, so if that could do it many other dogs could do the same.

Now you'll start talking about soft going, December and January or whatever else. ?
