I’ve been making dandelion cream for a while which I rub on my joints ? but as a side effect it it very good for the skin and I have one mate that is using it on his psoriasis and recons it’s the best it’s been in years after using all the modern creams and my wife had a patch of  excema on here back that has cleared up after using it so if you can be arsed it’s dead easy to make and does seem to work ??

That sound more like psoriasis than eczema, I suffer from it on my hands and feet, it’s an immune system problem, sometimes it will just come on, but normally when something affects my immune system, for example when I had the vaccine my psoriasis went mental to the point it was all over my body, if she’s just had a baby this will of affected her immune system and could of triggered it off, there’s no cure for it, just management, she’d be best off going to the doctors for a steroid cream, something like Betnovate, everything you buy in the chemist is just a moisturiser

I would definitely go down the dermatologist route before starting on betnovate , it’s a quite powerful steroid and prolonged use is not recommended for youngsters . I suffered with it as a kid and some of the ordinary soaps and detergents seemed to cause flare ups , along with a lot of the moisturisers recommended to help it , one , which was some type of pure lanolin sent the thing into overdrive for days .I eventually grew out of it and I’m sure they have made progress in the treatments now on offer ..

Any advice taken gratefully

partner had our little one 6 months ago and since then her palms of her hands have flared up with excema it’s horrendous like and nothing we’ve tried has help cream moisturiser wise or cutting things out diet etc we just can’t find the trigger or a cure

can be fine for a day or two just dry with small hacks then flare up out of nowhere to the point she’s rubbing them raw on the work top

any advice or tips greatly appreciated ?

The baby or your Mrs ?

My Mrs started getting it on her foot after she had the kids, been everywhere and tried everything over the years but nobody seems to know why or what.

Its on the sole/instep so it’s painful as f**k for her.

Its just something she deals with now, best thing she has found is a natural cream made locally by someone and that seems to ease things until it calms down.

She has tried everything over the years from prescriptions by the specialist, diet and even natural healers.

Ill ask her what it is for you and you may be able to get something similar over there.

Keep clear of the steroids mate, it’s some heavy duty shit they prescribe you and it’s howling…..especially if you have a young baby and your Mrs is breastfeeding.
