How longs piece of string ?

What you hoping to catch edible or non edible ?
methods is it mooching , lamping ferreting ?
 Terrain your hunting on?

everyone is going to suggest their favourite type of breeding ,

it pays to do your homework least now the internet’s available but you also got more bullsh*t to Wade through .

Mooching. I have had dogs all my adult life. I know dogs I understand dogs and think I train and get good results I am keen on quiet handling and can drop my dogs on a quiet hiss or squeek and hand signal so i understand what you guys are saying and understand you. I have personaly owned german Shepherds all my life but now the breed is totaly fxxxxd by the breeders and KC so I have a rescue working bred collie which has been a revelation. 9 years old and as fit and fast as when 12 months old. Its just that all of these years I have admired the dedication that goes into lurcher breeding. If I have been put off its because I once read ( it may have been Plummer) that greyhounds were not the sharpest Knife in the drawer. Never having trained a greyhound I dont know about that.

All dogs are trainable if the owner has the ability to train, that includes greyhounds. Plus a lurcher is a hybrid which brings other aspects.

How can an all-rounder not have the capability of tackling the big gear? ?

Surely an all-rounder is a jack of all trades, master of none.
