Same Dev JayB0 made one

We're going to put it out in a few

Days

Top it up then go back every two days to check there feeding from it

Then hit them hard if they are

Not finished yet mind but will be by the time we get it out

Ours are very similar to Villaman's design but we use aluminium tube about 4 - 5 feet long which holds enough feed for approx 5 - 7 days depending how hungry they are and the top caps are .22 pellet tins which are a push fit and need replacing every year as they go rusty.  No matter how intent the squirrels are, they cannot get into our feeders.

Talking to a fella last year ,he buys the small metal pedal bins  takes the pedal and components out  it which enables  feed to come out  and attaches plywood to the bottom  puts wood on the back to attach to trees also finishes them off by spraying.Looked good but I,ll stick with the wood ones there cheaper for me ?
