Most beaver populations are healhty never heard of any dogs geeting sick here. The only dangerous thing were then a member in our hunting teams labrador retriever run out on thin ice over the rapid stream on the bang of the rifle and fetched a 15kg beaver.

There are a dozen or so strains of Leptospirosis. The jabs offered by vet's cover just Two of them. And then only for a short time.

But, at least you'll never see a vet' driving an old motor.

Dynamite and exavators are used here too then they build to close to roads. I have seen them flood logging roads and once they under mined the railroad.

So there is a downside then, now stick those problems in a tiny island that’s overpopulated with a population of limp wristed wankers that will not even tolerate you killing a fly, the beavers will be more protected than jimmy saville, there will be no one allowed to kill them even if they dig under your garage and flood your kitchen, do you think the future will be problem free in those circumstances ??

Fishing channel I'm subscribed too on youtube. Lad stuck up footage of beavers swimming by him on a little river. He said there was no records of any beaver on that river system

You already has a problem if your garage is 5 feet from a river and your kitchen only 3 above the water. As for over population use a condom, it might even become a polititian.
