Finally start getting some floor down. This is the left overs of a reclaimed floor we got for the cottage...I done the old squinty look and "there'll be plenty there"... Wrong! Quite a bit short...I went for it anyway, thinking it may magically work! Ffs!! What a nightmare... We got it 2 years ago, the place does all reclaimed wood, the make beautiful furniture, do cut slate etc...but everything is is one offs, the flooring was out of a Victoria house... no chance I'd get the same again...but off we went to Winkleigh timber last week and kind of found a match... We got a big lump of slate for the hearth whilst we were there.... It kind of all worked Got the furniture back in today.. My mate is changing sockets and putting some new wiring in...plus changing the light... "That should only take a couple of days" said I.....why don't I ever learn...ffs!
