Mushroom mooch up in the woods on the side of Dartmoor. Picked my lads dogs up on the way.

After some Hedgehog mushrooms and Winter Chanterelles nick name Yellow foot.

It's called an aggression.. it happens around winter time it helps them control body temperature , share mates , enhance their defenses and share resources...

Take them if over 6 inches across is safest. I like them sort of nutty taste but they don't keep long.

Should have a snake skin appearance to the stem and you can move the skirt ring up and down.

A great tasting, easy to identify mushroom that is large enough to spot from afar.

Finding those two types right in the Fir woods today right among the brash.
