Its very rare I do a lot more than most and I have lost a suspected 3 to snakes in 50 years, the snakes will use burrows for cover and to eat small kits but I doubt they live in them or we would lose plenty to them., mother rabbits will protect their young from snakes. 1 Quote Link to post

With most of our snakes probably not, but a mothers instinct doesn't consider the consequences and the snake remembers not to try that again. 2 Quote Link to post
