Too young ? How old do they have to be to run ten yards and  hold a rabbit in a net ?

Absolutely trev,get them out young and sow the seeds earlie, il be starting a pup around that age this season, give her a few hours out does them no harm whatsoever, each to there own

Only way to train them is in the field yes was a bit out of control but the more times you get her out the better she will me they don't learn bugger all sat in kennels

When we had finished bolting I had a walk about with her she stood at point marking a small patch of reeds then flushed the rabbit ran and caught it I couldn’t of been more happy with her . Good luck with your pup this season Neil
