Metal Detecting Boys

Guys found this coin or metal disk its non - ferrous with marks that look like they have been made with the tip of an axe. It's 27mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick any ideas.

For a medieval shopping trolley?

That is definitely an elvish coin from lord of the rings. I believe it's a grulamp which is worth ten niblo's. Nice find.

Yes you are a clever cnut ?

Old penny that someone has marked with and axe for whatever reason. The face of the coin has corroded off. Most of the coins I find on my area of the pennies are just blank discs because the earth is so acidic

I have this coin I found some time ago I presume its British as you can see Britainnia but its 28mm or 1.1 inch diameter but it is close to the Disk which is about 27.5mm. The coin weighs 6 grams but the disk weighs 7 grams even though it looks thiner.

Being new to this game I mostly been doing farm land. Having getting fed up with plough shears, horse shoes and all manner of square nails I decided to have a crack at the river bank. So picked a section of bank and gave it a go at least a few interesting bits. Some bullet slugs the large ones I think are British army .450 rifle round from late 1800 up till 1914. There was a range about quarter of a mile away from late 1800 up till 1945 ish. We used to dig bullets out from beside the butts when we was kids. Hand full of fishing weights an old bit of lantern but its the small brass ring I'm interested in.

Some of you lads seem clued up on this metal detecting lark. What are your thoughts please I think it may be cast. Is it just a curtain ring, harness ring, finger ring or I'm wondering as it seem similar ring money.
