THE STIFFMEISTER 14,553
The lad at works Tesla is f***ing insane think it was 65k , it’s immaculate inside , absolutely beautiful , quiet , shifts like nothing you’ve seen , it has no servicing other than brakes and tyres , it’s about a tenth of the fuel costs (costs him about 3.50 a day in electric for a hundred mile plus round trip) and works out 42k cheaper in depreciation and running costs over 5 years than a comparative marque. some piece of engineering like
Greb147 6,808
The only thing that would bother me on an electric car is how well the battery holds up after a year or so of charging. Take for example your mobile phone, once it's bedded in you might get a screen on time at about 6 hours, a year or so down the line you will lose some of that performance. I’m sure they will be aware of that . I was very much in doubt of all of it but after seeing it in saturday , I’d say that the technology has evolved .

kanny 19,322
Some of the older tesla's had free charging on them. Dont think they do it anymore on the new ones but if you buy one of the old ones it's still valid....mad

Not sure but that’s what he said . I’d imagine a high end comparative Mercedes or Audi wilL drop quite rapidly in value as opposed to a newer Tesla especially in corporate fleets

I know a few folk with them and they say they are a pain in the arse having to find charging points on long journeys , having to stop to charge ur motor half way through a journey then having to leave it overnight to charge somewhere if you don't have a charger at your house. Both fellas got one each as a company motor ended goin and buying a real car and just claiming they're mileage and expenses cos the electrics are so rubbish. Load of shite. Fact. Don't know why they have to leave it somewhere to charge overnight they normally come with a charger you plug into a normal mains socket incase you don't have an outside charger. The journey thing I can understand but if you plan your route and find a fast charge point and have a break for a wee while your grand normally.
