You can’t go wrong with an army Bergan with the rocket pouches.  Durable waterproof tons of room and have been tested In all the harshest climates. They come in short or long back depending on which you prefer.

Excessive thorn ,briars,I have to drag myself about a bit up banks, over ridges and use them while shooting the 223 also,..being dry isn't essential but I'd take it gladly ,lol....

A pair of leather work gloves would do you perfectly. After a bit of use they sort of mould around your hand and will easily allow you to fire the rifle.

Thanks for the offer Bush,I'm going to go with either one of the three below,I think....if you haven't gloves on in the forestry your hands get well tore up ,the welding gloves would be a bit awkward with the rifle

A little project I got on the go, a sought of mini camper/dayvan/old banger van. I want something were I can go off with the dog for a night and mooch and do what I do. Nip up to the dales or over to Norfolk for a night and mooch about and camp ruff it for the night or too. This is part finished but going to change it all round for better use of space, so get rid of double bed or half it, or do away and put a single rock and roll bed. Going to put a roof light/vent in. Am undecided weather to put a side window inn or weather to keep a stealthy look. Also not sure weather to put some sort of heater inn ? This is the first project I've done so any advice appreciated thanks and also if you have any pics of your own then stick them up. Cheers

I was looking at them, I thought there mite be a easier alternative. I have use of a jackery portable generator battery and thought use that with a small heater , maybe mini  oil filled radiator or warm air heater.

Hi guys , bit of a long shot , but I’m due to imminently move to the plains of my people and have heard rumours of a firemonger of weapons ??
He is said to be a purveyor of the uks finest steel tomohawks and one of the last true dwarf weapon masters
if anyone can point me in the right direction , I’d be greatly pleased

I want to purchase a pair of boots for the colder weather, I do a lot of walking, and some trekking about the hillsides and trails. I do not want "winter boots" but rather boots that would be suitable for a cold day, but would work with layers of socks rather than thick heavy boots. Several people have told me Meindl is an excellent brand, and that is great, but what kind ? Hiking ? Walking ? Do they make them that they would serve the purpose mentioned above ? Any specifics to look for in a boot for this purpose ?
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn

Sorry gentlemen to bother you, but I have come to my wits end. My neighbour across the way lets her dog roam as it please when it comes to shitting and urination, she is too lazy to actually take the dog out herself. He seems to have taken to my property and a certain area just under my bedroom window. I do not want to hurt the dog for the sake of her ignorance, but I do very much need to stop him from doing it any longer. The grass and  the shrubs are dying and turning brown and the flowers are just rank with smell that floats up through my bedroom window.
He is a VERY OVERWEIGHT beagle and leaves behind some damn good deposits.
I am wondering short of doing something stupid, what can I do to deter the dog from that area or any patches of garden I have? I plan to go to the council about the problem, and lay some of it on the town manager who is an acquaintance of mine, but in the meantime, any tricks out there to make my flowers and bushes unsavoury.
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn
