There's a Terra nova Voyager for sale near me Same as Andrew Beavers is using at the moment. Its £299.. I can get it for 270. Do well to get it below 500 sheets online. I'm tempted.. but it's quite long when packed an doesn't have to big a porch/ vestibule...?

Get an expedition hammock mate. Less than a kilo in weight and some can be set like a tent if you’ve nowhere to hang it ?

If you can get that for new £270 then that’s the bargain of the century, I’ve been on the lookout for one and a few times nearly hit the buy button…

My only concern and downside in my eyes is the fact that it’s inner pitch first so if it’s pi55ing down the inner will get it until you put the fly sheet on although the inner should be treated with a DWR coating (water repellency) I would need imagine…

Its a superb tent and the front porch is cracking for cooking and keeping gear although there’s bags of space and storage in the tent itself ?

Thanks for that mate. Yes it is new and my Mrs gets another 10% because she's ex SAS?.  I'm assuming Terra Nova send oddments there to move on. There was a Laser compact in there too for £399. Yes.. agree inner pitch first thing does put me off to be honest.

Decisions Decisions!!

Personally I think for £270 you’d be crazy not to get it… To be fair you could try it out on a few trips and if you decide it’s not right for you so long as you don't damage it or anything you’d happily get your money back selling it on 2nd hand ?

The likes of the laser compact and the Hilleberg Enan are great for summer but in winter and wet weather you need a bit more space as you can be tent bound for long periods - always nice to be able to sit up…

The voyager is a one man palace ?

Hi guys , bit of a long shot , but I’m due to imminently move to the plains of my people and have heard rumours of a firemonger of weapons ??
He is said to be a purveyor of the uks finest steel tomohawks and one of the last true dwarf weapon masters
if anyone can point me in the right direction , I’d be greatly pleased

I want to purchase a pair of boots for the colder weather, I do a lot of walking, and some trekking about the hillsides and trails. I do not want "winter boots" but rather boots that would be suitable for a cold day, but would work with layers of socks rather than thick heavy boots. Several people have told me Meindl is an excellent brand, and that is great, but what kind ? Hiking ? Walking ? Do they make them that they would serve the purpose mentioned above ? Any specifics to look for in a boot for this purpose ?
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn

Sorry gentlemen to bother you, but I have come to my wits end. My neighbour across the way lets her dog roam as it please when it comes to shitting and urination, she is too lazy to actually take the dog out herself. He seems to have taken to my property and a certain area just under my bedroom window. I do not want to hurt the dog for the sake of her ignorance, but I do very much need to stop him from doing it any longer. The grass and  the shrubs are dying and turning brown and the flowers are just rank with smell that floats up through my bedroom window.
He is a VERY OVERWEIGHT beagle and leaves behind some damn good deposits.
I am wondering short of doing something stupid, what can I do to deter the dog from that area or any patches of garden I have? I plan to go to the council about the problem, and lay some of it on the town manager who is an acquaintance of mine, but in the meantime, any tricks out there to make my flowers and bushes unsavoury.
      Thank you in advance,
      Lynn
