Thinking of selling wet weather springers to buy one premium springer

Recommended Posts

There are two Rifles in interested in having..

I personally beleive I've already got the other two best uns..

LGU or TX

My LGV is an insanely fun gun, so accurate such a nice design. I tend toward getting a Walther a couple of places seem to have stock... But OMG the fish scale checkering on the TX.... Jeez that's lovely.

Nothing like a good springer jake once you have mastered it

Best part is

Pellets in pocket

Rifle and go

Your set

No filling gear no running back to motor to fill up

And if you know how to handle one you can still fill the game bag up

I've got a very special 97.

Pics soon!

And I've got an LGV...

The HW as new was fairly poor tbh.. In comparison to my old HW80 there was a floor in the finish I failed to notice until it was well shot in.... And the blueing is poor on the blued parts its nickel plated...

The Walther however shoots like its been tuned, then I tuned it. Lol... A little more, better quality spring new seals and polish the right bits.

I might be mad but a TX has a guided piston am I right?... Its not allowed to rotate?

i think every one should have a springer in there collection

I only shoot Springers... But I've got some cheaper once I've bought as I've seen them etc... Impulsive.. Purchases to see how the work, one that's been pretty accurate, but several others that aren't one two tuned guns....that are OK after being tuned up a bit, but the Walther mechanism is amazing... I'd still love a TX

Thing is Jake, might be wrong mind :hmm:but I,m sure I recently read that Air Arms has finally decided to make left handed stocks for the Pro Sport ?

Anyways, HW 97, HW77 and HW80 are in my cabinet along with AATX 200 and Pro Sport.

I have no preferences Jake, you cannot split a hair between them for me, its all down to your own personal preference buddy.

I did once own the Walther master pro for about a week, I hated it. The internals of that gun were outstanding but the finish was cheap and the trigger was just crap.

By the way Jake, the TX200 hasn't won all those competitions by chance.

                   Good luck with your choices.

Not one to disagree with the godfather, but I found my old PS a bit of a paper queen, dont get me wrong, laser like on that 1/4 inch bull. But. In the field, get sand, field dust in the mech and she's a little bitch... and maybe its cos the mech is the full length of the stock. Not like a HW, where its front end only. Thus allowing more shit to get in the belly of the rifle and it just grating on a heavy day on the bugs.

Jake. Your seem a tuner and enjoy developing airguns and airgun tech, so I can't disagree with master Atack. On paper or range, and field for a bit, the PS is like licking butter off a Thai hookers ring.

Edit. Melted butter ?
