? Taken a lot of rabbits over the last 60 years with various working dogs,....but, under the spotlight,..I would think that 78 with my Sadie , back in the 1980's would be the most that I've grassed in

try again.. 63 taken the night before ....took this pic before we set off ferreting

It's not allways about numbers. Not to long ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Cairngorms for a weekend, by Northernlite and Taysider. We had a fantastic time, but one naysayer moc

The minshaw dog was a direct son of Vicks blue and the black dog in the pic was my mates lamping partners dog and was a minshaw cross collie greyhound, both dogs put some gear away in there time. He did well with the half bred , for a solid built dog I was surprised by how fast it was and I seen it run on a few things, i have quite a few old pics. But my mate is a private fella so best left in my albums.

Best thing about the old albums you pic them up ones in a blue moon memorys come fluding back old pals in them 2 and 4 legged ones nights or days you might have completely forgot about

Getting the thread back on track; I've never really had big bags of rabbits, it's not something I went out for.

I think 36 or 39 was about my best with Delta and Bruce the rescue dog;

Id get more pleasure out of a good winter daytime hare with a deer cross,

Or a big dog fox with a game beddy cross,

But I enjoy every aspect of the game ! ? !

Cheers.

I saw Bruce run 1 night, good rabbit dog.

I had Bruce in my kennel a few times, and ran him a lot with my bitch Delta.

Billy, I forget the name of the springer, Bruce and Delta,
