Serious question, have you caught abs killed a lot of foxes with dogs ? Not a dig, just curious. 
 

Yer or expect my but dog to kill it quickly with no fuss, that’s pretty much the point. I want an efficient catch and dispatch dog, not to stand there like a goon watching a dog roll about with them.

But having killed quite a few, they don’t all do easy and can give even a big dog a bit of stick, especially if the dog is tired / had a couple already that night. 
 

Just like hares there is a fair bit of variance in them, all decent fox dogs should kill any quick but a lot of dogs who will catch abs roll around with the odd one, will come unstuck if asked to do it regular all season. 
 

plenty of saluki xs will say no, same as lots of other breeds.

I've never mentioned any breed other than the terrier crosses we were talking about. It's just my personal preference, if I was foxing alot I'd have a bigger dog. I mainly hunt rabbits so I like terrier crosses, it's nice to have one that can rise to the occasion if needed though

I can’t answer that one.

But I’ve seen a few whippets that loved a fox abs were indulged, they didn’t have much palate on nasal cavity left and sounded like darth Vader. Head structure, size, jaw power etc all comes into play. Yer most dogs will eventually kill a fox if they on its throat but a lot of foxes aren’t grabbed by the throat and to hold down and dispatch an angry winter dog fox when you’re only whippet weight isn’t always easy.

I think myself this kids a bit of a dreamer hanging off his das coat tails...lol he was lamping them in the 90s but was only 12 in 1998..lol..ffs.. we will see how good your super saluki are come winter...

97 mate on i seen all types me bitza as good as any whippet sal  grey x 1/4 bull grey

Properly had 4_5 year at em solid mate before I was bored of em 

And few night nearly left in fields for telling men what I thought even bk then
