David.evans 5,323
Nearly all my perms are arable and the crops are to high to see fox there are a few fields of maze but just seem un productive so what’s your target this time of year , apart from the occasional roe buck Atb Quote Link to post
BenBhoy 4,706
I'm lucky that I've cut a bit of silage so on that for fox & the grazing land. and also in the woodland on farm. Edited June 12, 2021 by BenBhoy Quote Link to post
shovel leaner 7,648
I would be on the lookout for permission on ground with livestock that doesn’t have standing crops . Quote Link to post
Stavross 13,711
90% of my ground is arable for foxes but I’m lucky that the other 10% is a sheep farm, woodland and recently egg units, so I’m good for an hour or so out shooting rabbits and squizzers and an odd fox, when I started I only had crop fields so used to have 3 months or so of not doing much at all Edited June 12, 2021 by Stavross Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,020
I'm lucky that I have a variety of ground. So odd roe buck but mainly from now for next few months rabbits and hopefully pigeons/crows on the ripe crops and stubbles before starting on the Cubs 1 Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,648
Seriously, I go clay shooting whenever I can . I used to be competitive, now I just practice. I still love breaking clays , and love it when a few of us get together and have a bit of a competition between us . I’m off to Farmington quarry tomorrow morning. They have a few sort of crane things that Chuck the clays nice and high , great practice for pheasant. I think it what a lot of game shooters do in the summer , that and pigeon shooting . 1 Quote Link to post
