TX 200 HC .177 static hunting rabbits.

Recommended Posts

Those TX 200`s don't half rock in the accuracy stakes for spring piston rifles lads.

I was in full Camo`, Primos sticks, rifle and dog tucked into the hedges and the wait begins.

Maybe I`m on top of the rabbit damage these days on my nursery permission as one single presentation was the only shot of the evening.

A half grown munching away, lazed to 46 yards, the TX nestled steady as in the Primos, cross hairs on the back of its eye, touch more, raised the cross hair a half mill dot, then I built the shot.

I so, so much prefer spring piston air rifles over PCP`s.

Instant despatch.

Must confess that the TX200 I bought because Mark raved on about them was an amazing bit of kit once I had it tuned and actually pellet on pellet but just too heavy to walk round with.  If I had the range of perms that I have now, it would have come into it's own.  There is a tx200hc and a Prosport in my rfd as we speak which look rather nice but as I have committed to buying the new Mk3 Wildcat, and I have just bought the project s200, not much money left over.     I know Mark loves his springers and totally agree as to the level of satisfaction of making the kill with a springer, I will have another one of these days.

Nice shooting Marko.
