Frosty morning.

Bit of a frost this morning at 05.45am, we walked a old railway line to the woods instead of going over the fields, didn’t want the pup putting anything big up and going for a long gallop with the ground being hard. The  ground was good in both woods and he hunted up a few rabbits coming close on one ( sure he’s on first name terms with it as he runs one regular in the same spot ). Only saw two squirrels and took this one at around 20odd yards.. head shot, stone dead ! The pigeon was a good 30 yards with the 11mm steel dropping him with a neck shot. Good to hear the bird song especially the bittern booming. No swallows as yet Greyman but shouldn’t be long.

Just lost my last one recently might get me one of them LT,s next for a try, as you say they are a good reliable catty, bit like a Japanese car, never let you down but get a bit boring

Yes mate. I couldn’t shoot it, didn’t feel right. I know a lad who uses one and he’s spot on with it.
