He's in new Zealand I think mate

Sorry, I'm probably using the wrong terminology, I meant what's the ground like he runs his dogs on? Big/small fields/heath, flinty ground, heather moorland - that type of thing

They have only one speed and thats flat out trying to kill them selves. If they get the whippet skin they open up like a zip. if they live long enough the make great dogs as long as it don't rain lol

Breeding from pure greys is the lowest standards in lurcher breeding imo, dont know why lads still do it, can just about understand if its proven in the field but track mutts no way, worker to worker, it aint rocket science.

all of the above its just depends where I go  on any given day ,winter running ,summer running its all required of the dogs ,but mine aren't champions by any means  ,but give it 110% so Im happy to own em.

I've got a 3/4 whip 1/4 grey and she's a decent worker. My opinion is get it out ferreting young so it gets a few knocks before it gets too fast. They are heart in mouth dogs but they do learn. Don't know about a first cross but mine has no problems with it's feet.

I think that's a very good point & something I would totally agree on .

Because I mainly ferret I take my pups along as soon as they can follow, it's never put one off missing them. If I was doing as much as you do I'd probably go for a sturdier type instead of straight running dogs.
