Nathan - A Pit Fighting Dog. Brian Plummer. I like historical drama. And I've always loved Plummers characterisations too. Just add Pit Bulls! All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten. Robert Fulghum. Slipped to me, as parting gift, by a Kiwi lad who was single handedly 'seeing the world' and fell into and with my old local. Tolstoy's "War and Peace". I was told there was a chapter on Bozois coursing wolves so started reading it and couldn't put it down ! Crumps " A Good Keen Man" , New Zealand's far better alternative to Plummer ! Darcy's "Now That's What I Call Lurcher Work 2", just because it mentions a couple of my dogs ! ! Read at a time when I was starting to suss people out for myself and it confirmed what I was thinking. Pygmallion, George Bernard Shaw. Similar to above. Hunt and Working Terriers, Captain Jocelyn M Lucas MC. Made me aware of a world that I had no idea existed and have been trying to live in that world ever since, without success. Unfortunately I was not born into the British officer class and the 1st quarter of the 20th century had long gone. Electrical Installations, C Sheldon. An important book for me when I started labouring on building sites and was being treat like shit by tradesmen. If you can't beat them ...join them. And then become their boss. The Bible, unknown. I am not religious but was brought up in a Christian family and some of the stuff in there has stood me in good stead.
