Hi 

any body used these at all 

ive a box of 100 , and thinking of reloading a few just to see the difference 

between theses and 55g v max

Somewhere I've got some 35s that I loaded a few up of.  I found that they didn't have the impact power in comparison to the rounds that I  was used to using,  with the low wt/ballistic coefficient. I know some people use them.

It will be interesting to see how you do . I’ve never tried anything that light in my .223 . I think that weight is more suited to Hornet and .222 . 
          I was thinking of trying some different bullets , Berger , Barnes or Nosler . But in the end I just played it safe and ordered my usual 50grn Vmax . They seem to be performing well enough. They kill well and group better than I can shoot . I use the 70grn Sierra Blitzkings in my .243 and they are very accurate and kill extremely well . I’ve got them tanking along a bit too . I’ve shot a few foxes and other things with it and there is seldom an exit wound , but give the body a shake and it’s like a bag of marbles. 
       What powder do you intend to use David ?

I have been using 40gn Vmax using VV N133 and also use 55gn Sierra BK again VV N133 and there is not much difference on the POI , so no need to adjust scope HTH

That's interesting.  What's the powder charge difference between the two.?

I am using 23.5 for the 55s and 25 for the 40s , 22inch barrel 1 in 12 twist

Yep 

I use vit 133 , 24g with the 55 v max , and it’s deadly accurate 

A 25g load would be a good starting point for the 40

I'm using 40g Blitzking with. 20g of n130 in my 222. 

Picking off magpies and crows at 180 yards, super accurate in my rifle, not  missing  unless its user error. 

Very happy with them.
