Game butchering course

Recommended Posts

I’m certainly not in the North East but I can highly recommend any course of this type. I did mine with a guy from near Donnington race circuit and a follow up with a guy at Cannock Chase. You see everything and get to appreciate the equipment required to make life easier but also more efficient with the carcass, be it fur or feather. Good luck in your quest. Jok.

I don't know about game butchery courses but one of our local butchers were doing a course where you got to cut a bit up and take some home at the end, the basics would be there though pheasants and chickens aren't too different without the feathers on same with sheep and deer.

Gripper. If you don’t know how to skin an animal properly then you have a problem. A butcher generally is working with a carcass, not a kill. There is a world of difference in my opinion. Jok.
