I’ve worked through this whole thing.
Going into peoples homes and flat out on hospital wards, as well as custody and looking after kids, assessing people who’ve had a breakdown and getting them into mental hospital. And helping kids being abused by their wanker parents.

I don’t want no prick to come and tell me what a good job I done. I signed up for it and I’m doing it.

My mates a nurse f**k me she hasn’t stopped moaning about it every 5 minutes. I told her to shut the f**k up and quit if she don’t like the job but I think she just enjoys moaning.

See a lot of nurses have loved this pandemic. I reckon a lot of them got a Martyr complex. Moan like f**k about how hard done by they are but won’t leave cos they won’t get paid as much to do anything else.

Id love a big fat pay rise but so would everyone else in every sector.

Wouldn't have minded to say at home for the last 12 months on 80% pay, instead been busier than every and we’ve had a 5 year pay freeze.

The nurses are complaining their 1% rise ain’t enough but they had a big pay rise just recently in their last pay deal. The stupid fuckers thought they were going to get 12%

Not sure I'm getting a pay rise ?

Me neither, but I live in hope. Been a trying time this pandemic lark. I reckon the whole world needs a pay rise at this point. Apart from the wanker politicians and 1% brigade lol

If your only getting paid for 11hrs work you only do 11hrs work would be my thinking ..

Don't know how you can be made to do 12hrs work but get paid for 11

Their claiming the loss of an hours pay is for an unpaid break which can be impossible when looking after dementia patients who need constant attention and care to take an hour's brake .

Right ,

I apologise If this sounds abrasive .

one ...
what do people want for working through the pandemic ? A f***ing blue Peter badge? Be a grown up and stop worrying about what you’ve got and others haven’t .

two....

them and us . Always the man sticking it to you . Never your fault . That’s the way it is , some people drive forklifts , some service them , some own the factory . That’s just how it is and no disrespect to people but that’s business , your paid to do a job ? Not happy do something else about it .

three...

we’ve had the best part of a year off , but ask yourself , what have you done about it ? What have you done personally in your life to improve it? You can’t stay like statue , you go stagnant ,you need to evolve , move to grow .

you can’t just blame all your underpinnings or failings on your situation. If you don’t change or attempt to change you’ll never be happy .

The day starts and ends with you ,ask your self “what did I do today to improve my life?”

Worked all way through this pandemic and never had a shift off same as the old woman never wanted or received recognition to be honest it's what's expected from ordinary working class folk anyways it's when you're employers take the piss what gets most folk I know like this bag of sweets given to the posters partner better to have not bothered to be honest imo.

as said allready you are paid to do a job.no different to anyone else who has been working through this shit every day paying their tax to support the people who have not been at work.plus what pay rise have most normal workers got in the past 3 years ?.also the mp,s managed to give themselves thousands more for having to work through these hard times and also got a big hand out for all their expenses.just look at what doris has done lately with the makeover, 200k was it not.
