Are these the latest H&N slugs , as the other .25 had a problem with coating they used

What other .25 are you referring to Villman and what problem ?

The first lot of H&N .25 slugs  which came out last year had problems with the coating, so they stopped production, I have emailed H&N to find out when they will be back in production, reply I had saying they still haven’t sorted out the coating problem

There in production trust me and group very well, these have just hit the UK within the last week..

Depends on your liner, theres a lot of options... You would have to test on your own setup.

.249 and .250 34gr and 36gr I have tested in the superior liner and they work very well around 870-910fps

Would I still be wasting my time Mitch using them in my original impact barrel as in ORIGINAL barrel.

I would do the same but don’t have any my self , in fact just ordered some , plus I have JSB sending me the new mk2 slugs , so I can carry on my testing out to 100+ yards  , which we should be able to buy very soon . JSB slugs 34 gr do look very promising , after testing out to eighty yards
