why not get te best of both?

a leaf blower with a hydrolic hose to the exhaust pipe.

then you can choose to blow just air or fume into the holes.

After using leaf blower for couple weeks I tend to use chainsaw for big places they create a lot more noise and the smoke. The leaf blower is working well in shallow burys and in round straw stacks. But when used at same time as chainsaw it just blows the smoke away to quick

but if you don't permanently fix the exhaust to the blow chanel. you can choose or only air or air with fumes or fumes only. and with the fumes only option i don't think there will any differnce to a chainsaw.

i bought a cheap 18v cheap china fake makita blower. it works well to get some close by rats moving.

i do work my ferrets with other terriers not broken to ferrets. but they must be kept on a leash with a propper dog handler per dog.  and while doing so most dogs do learn that ferets are part of the team if enough time is invested into it.
