The gold triggers on brownings stay gold for yonks  because no one shoots them much because of sore finger after ten rounds.

Best thing to do is go in and have a feel, see what feels right for yourself. Some rifles just feel right and you'll make it work!      Then buy the tikka ?

License came today and decided on the cz457 .22lr happy is a understatement ????

To be honest, I like the cz and the browning ( I have one of each in .17 ) but if I was to replace ether or both  of them it would be with the tikka, they are a rimfire that feels like a centrefire

Mate has two tikka in 22mag and 223, have to admit they are good bloody rifles ??

See now that is where we are different.  I like a rimfire to be petite and not feel like a huge CF!

In fact that is why I like the cz527 range of center fires. They are petite mini mausers.

Must be because I have girls hands ?

I am surprised by the amount of people who keep chop changing guns. Two of the son in laws have bought guns second hand really cheaply,, lije give away money  that have been virtually unused.  One gun had been bought in 1994 but had only ever shot 4 rounds.!! Yes 4 rounds.!! And they had been shot at a block of wood to see it fire.  It had all the original packing along with 2 boxes of ammo minus 4 rounds.  Thes boxes of ammo had been written on the original bill. Overall they have both bought 4 rifles like this in 17 HMR and 223. People buy them and don't ever use them.  My guns are tools not fashion accessories.  My sporting 22 is ancient but it is really accurate and I am confident to head shoot out to about eighty yards Free hand.  It  has a high mag capacity, 20 rounds.  A 5 round mag would be no use to me when out after harvest.

Exactly, what’s that about, rimfire that feels like a centrefire. If you want unnecessary size and weight I suppose ??

Everything looks bigger in little hands ?

I had to put a neoprene stock sock on the cz to bulk it out a bit and the browning could do with one
