Fenn mk6 on rabbits

Just ordered some fenns (mk6) to try a bit of rabbit trapping. 

Should I be covering them with paper once set and sprinkling soil on top or just loosely cover with dirt and no paper?

You can, it’s only done to stop the soil getting under the pan, right time of year a decent sized dock leaf works for me

Large dog poo bag will also work you need to keep dirt  from under pan or trap wont go off.  get a small sieve from garden centre and sieve dirt on stones will also go under pan
