Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

As kids learning the hunting trade we weren’t allowed to have our sandwiches until the mornings rabbits were gutted or the rats picked up.there was no such thing as wet wipes or alcohol gel back then.
I must admit though nowadays I always have water wet wipes and alcohol gel in the truck.

Trying something different for the lovely one. We both like liver but normally in the traditional way, flour, hot oil and gravy. Well I’ve decided on lambs liver marinaded in milk with garlic, onion and very small mushrooms. I’m going to try this in the wok with a cream finish and steamed fresh leeks. Any thoughts? Jok.
