I'm not on Foolsbook...how much are these pups???

Does it really matter what's in these beddies to get them working?if they are doing a job? Or do you just keep lining jacker to jacker kc to kc and hope for the best? So you can call yours the Real Deal? And slag another man with sly comments?I'm confused here...am I missing something? You mates and it's a wind up?😉

Bedlingtons and the xs are getting ruined for ££££ notes .

Shame folk don't breed best to best kc or not to keep them a working type.

If your going too produce bedlington greyhounds they’ve got too be kc reg agreed and there’s loads out there with fire in there belly would easily kill a cat so why use a bedlington hybrid too produce lurchers still waiting on the breeding atb

What's kennel club registered gor to do with anything??

This is just why I don't come on here.

if someone wants to genuinely buy a pup I'll show them the breeding Iv the pedigree here, I'll make a working pedigree with the Bedlingtons on one side the greyhounds on the other .

I can't imagine the racing greyhound is registered with the kennel club don't mean it can't run round a track ( I'm guessing as you just look a greyhound up for it's breeding ) and isn't a greyhound, so you need a set of kennel club papers for a dog to have fire in its belly ?

Iv had plenty of lads who watch my dogs work they come down and iv plenty of game and show them a good day and my dogs hold there own. Kill an old cat 🙄?

Seriously. Too many dry lunches and keyboard cowboys in the dog world if you can't afford something don't buy it no one's falsing anyone,to the little rat P.M then get all clever about price, don't like the price someone is asking don't buy something, if you'v got something to say to a man come knock on his door and say it I'm a straight forward man I'll give you a bit of respect if you want to do that, the age of the internet has created a lot of people who'd rather stand Infront of a computer than a man as it's far easier and safer and in my experience there's not many men now who can stand up without a beer or 5 up them.

I don't need to deal with school children.

Billy Crotty I don't need to hide behind a name.

Wow I thought when I went into Bedlingtons that the breed seems it needs people who are just interested in keeping dogs for work.

It turns out the way a lot of you all bitch about each other you'd probably be more suited to mincing about with a poodle on a green carpet. What absolute tarts.

Anyway these are dogs that in the right I think should make decent ferret bushing and lamping dogs on what you come across as well as catching the odd hare given the right conditions as well, a nice little all-rounder, if you want to prove your a better man than me that's fantastic I'll look forward to it but I'll stand behind anything in my kennels that they please me on the field or they wouldn't be there.

Happy to chat directly with people genuinely interested in such a lurcher.

Jeez... The poor old Beddy's fecked with all these shennanighans.

KC reg, workers that won't be sold to working dog men, fussing over a bit of Lakie blood etc etc...

I've always fancied a Beddy, one from a solid working line, that works underground. I wouldn't give two hoots whats in the line, wouldn't give a flying feck about the KC either, just a solid working line producing solid working dogs... I genuinely have no idea if such things still exist but i know one thing, if they do, no one's gonna sell one to me... 🤣

Poor old George will be turning in his grave.. 😔

Just got this stunning little bitch, nearly 12 months old, Deerhound x Bedie grey.
I used to go out with my dad's Lurchers when I was a kid but I'm a female in my 30's now and struggling to get back into the swing of things.
I'd love to have this girl knocking down bunnies but I just don't know where to start, I've barely seen a rabbit or and other quarry since I moved here.
Any of you experts in my area fancy giving me some advice/practical experience (hunting related only)

Some of you may remember back in March 21 I had my bitch spayed and a lump removed from her teats.
Another lump has formed and after having a biopsy the result is that it's deffo cancer. 😢
Vet says we're looking at about a grand to treat/remove it with no guarantee of success.
She will be 12 in about 6 weeks.
I'm monitoring the size and if it's growing quickly it's gonna be a PTS scenario but I'm of the mind to see how she goes over the summer and let her get some sun on her back and then PTS, obviously if she's feeling it I'll do the deed sooner.
      f***ing dogs eh?
      Cheers, D.

What do folk use for keeping their dogs at the height of cleanliness?
Mostly talking about ears here, the amount of gunk that seems to build up resulting in all night head shaking is phenomenal.
How cropped are you keeping nails? Best tooth and gum care?
Seems not to be a topic but I know everybody is keeping their dogs in top condition

Hello, would just like a few pointers from the more experienced members than me on the best way or their particular methods of breaking terriers to livestock? I have a relative that keeps poultry on an allotment that would let me take my pup through, but he’s 5 months now and like most working bred terriers he’s feisty and excited by fur and feather. I wouldn’t want any nasty mistakes to happen so any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I’m looking for some advice as we recently rescued a whippet lurcher mix. She’s extremely friendly and sociable with dogs and people but is constantly biting and grabbing our older dogs legs, ears and neck. He’s s cavachon and doesn’t really care for playing or interacting with other dogs so he rarely snaps or growls at her when she starts. He’ll just stand there looking at us or try to run away. She’s never been aggressive towards him and regularly try’s to protect him if other dogs get rough with him. However she’s constantly biting at him when he starts barking or when’s she too excited. We separate her and tell her no but so far it’s not working and he’s doing little to tell her to stop. My worry is he’s much smaller then her and that she might accidentally hurt him if we weren’t there to stop it. Is this common Lurcher behaviour and any suggestions? Thanks
