Help stop the NI hunting ban

Recommended Posts

As some will know we're up against it again in Northern Ireland with an Alliance minister putting forward a proposal for banning the hunting of mammals with dogs. Essentially they've taken the principles of the Blair ban and closed every loophole in it. If it goes through it will be illegal to even hunt a rabbit with a spaniel. No terrier work, no lurcher work, not even trail hunting. There is a public consultation currently running that needs 60% vote in favour for the bill to be considered. The usual antis have been casting it wide and far for support. Please take a moment to complete it to help us folk out. Would be great to see the hunting world pull together on this one. Consultation closes on 12th February. Cheers.

That's sad but we've had it since 2005 so its inevitable unfortunately. The ban hasn't stopped anyone over here though so I imagine it will be the same over there. ????

Only if we run with that attitude. It would be completely different. They've learned the loopholes and closed every one of them in this proposal. English and Scottish MPs have already come out to say they're watching with interest because if this is passed it would make it easier to bring the rest of the UK in line.

I know what you're saying but we had Countryside marches in London,  did anyone take notice....NO. The antis don't care they just want a ban. The Hunting Act was a bit of a deal to get it passed ,trailhunting allowed what a joke. The political parties thought that would keep everyone happy,  but they forgot that antis will never stop til it's all banned. It will get passed and we will follow as the law at the moment isn't fit for purpose.

Done last week. All started with that stupid bitch who took that video of the stag hounds at loughbrickland and put it on Facebook now there looking a ban. But what's sad is you still have all the so called hunters still putting up pictures and videos all over Facebook of busted dogs and dead foxes you would think they would realise whats going on and stop stroking there own egos for a second cause there no call for it anyone who hunts knows what goes on in the feild and dont need all the glory hunters to show the world and f**k it up for the genuine hunters who are out for a bit of sport and to work there dogs.

That's just it ,if you are against hunting and look on Facebook you can find thousands of images , they have all the information they need . Unfortunately the dog world does attract a lot of undesirables which is impossible to defend.
