Also got a Mitchell Half-Bail, the type Richard Walker used to catch the record carp, and a 1955/6 model with full bail. Also a 300 and ABU 506 bought with my paper round and Saturday job money. A few more centrepins too.... A 1940's /50' Arerial Popular This one is unique. It was made in 1912 probably as a prototype by a reel maker who left Hardys and struck up shop on his own. I found an old split cane rod today, I'll take some pics tomorrow and put them up.. I have my sigma rod here and a boron match Mitchell were quality...they make some decent enough stuff again now, but Shimano, Daiwai etc took over... User to use a small quiver tip rod called a sigma wand on our canal, great thing for skimmers.. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
