I read somewhere that the reason it's been found in South Africa is there testing is on par with the UK and there testing for variants as well as 'normal' covid .. where some countries ain't doing this so there could be all different strains that aren't known ..

Exactly child, can't see the south American or Asian countries testing for variants. They can't do normal tests properly
