some pictures of the cages that i use.

Bolt traps work perfectly ....

my ferrets are so used to the cages that they can open them and go out of them again.

I’ve just been given a bit of ferreting gear by a mates grandad and there’s some I presume rat nets as the mesh is very very small about an 1inch has any one every used rat nets surely they will run straight through them

are they full size 3 foot and above long....rat nets are normally shorter.....i read years ago of folk using baked bean cans...both ends cut off...and a ladies tights atteched with a rubber band....it sounds a good idea but ive never seen it in action

some guys have small mesh size for catching young rabbits in summer.....very handy on pest control jobs......

used the soup tins with stockings before tights were ever heard of and they did work, the rats bolted and got so far down the stocking it just held them couldnt get out of them by going backwards and we just hung them in trees until we had finished and ferrets retrieved this was very early 60's,we just cut the stocking and dropped the rats to terrier pups knotted the stocking ready for the next time

I got some somewhere they are just a bit of netting but Om a wire hoop you peg to ground over hole, ever really used them tho

do you mean wire netting on wire hoop ...or string netting on a wire hoop....

the wire netting on a hoop acts like a flap...so rabbits ..rats cant hole hop...keeps them above ground for the dogs or guns
