Lump on lurcher

Hi folks iv just came across a lump about a squash ball size right inbetween the shoulder blades on my lurcher has anyone seen this before on there dogs just to get an insight before I take him the vets

Could be an assist or cancerous mate I would just take it to the vets to be on the safe side.

Yeah u right hate the bloddy vets cost me a fortune this year already lol

Benign cists are common there but always better get it checked out at vet for piece of mind

Could be an abcess too if it feels warm. That's an area the dog can't reach to bite at thorns, ticks and the like.

Vets are usually over pricey but are good at lumps and bumps and if you ask early on roughly what it might cost as you have to sort the money out.........well they are sometimes surprisingly helpful. Best of luck with it mate.

Class 1 lump 200 quid class 2 400 and so on

Go vets and have it checked as you never no and all the good advice in the world of lads on hear still not going to give the answers you need so it's a trip to vets and wallet out to get peace of mind .

As a rule of thumb ,if you can move it about it’s benign but don’t quote me on this .
