Not as expected

So was up early this morning and on the road for 5.30am, a day ferreting with the pup planned, ended up not even getting a ferret in a hole, boys terrier slipped its lead and dropped ย down in a rocky bit, queue 6 hours of fannying about having to go get spades, barsย a locator then another that worked, then batteries.. ๐Ÿ™ˆ but hey the pup got a bit socialising, different scents and a ride on a quad so not all bad ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

When I had terriers they often dropped into places unexpectedly at the worst of times, usually when I was just stretching my legs and letting the dogs empty out.

Christmas day before dinner, when I had pay to collect and the office about to shut, when I was supposed to take the wife shopping etc.etc.

If there's a place with scent going to it they'll be gone. No thought for anyone else terriers.

To be fair Iโ€™ve genuinely not Dug to a terrier in at least a decade, part of me really enjoyed it, the other part was saying โ€œf**k thisโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
