Great Footage , hare done well after such a short drop was under pressure from the off  was hoping for a block of bush to see it  get away after a fine display of wrenching two dogs around , as said hope they left it be and settled for the vid  as ther prize

Brilliant bit of footage when it more or less stopped and double backed them Dogs must have thought for fucks sake lol, I’ve always thought the hunt is better than the kill and if they survive their a worthy opponent.

I’d be very surprised if many of the dogs here would have made the catch? Be interesting to see. Or would the sand and heat get the better of them do you think ?

To be honest I think it would be an unfair comparison, their dogs are brought up in that climate, ours aren’t so would overheat a lot quicker. I think we’ve got the type we need in this country tbh the saluki blood was a revelation when it first happened but these days I don’t know what can be added by bringing one of them over. Their idea of coursing is worlds away from ours
