Where I live it's considered proper etiquette to drink from a Mason jar.

I work outside and it's been 95-97 here with heat index 105 simply put hot as hell

Honestly it doesn't taste as good as people says

I prefer sweet tea in my jar.

Shine did help pay my way to several dog shows across the country.Take a couple jugs and pay for your trip.It is fun watching the Yankees get plastered at a dog show while I sipped beer

We make our own moonshine here, called poitín, when made right it's lovely, 

Can really get some lads rilled up LOL

i use to pour lead weights by the hundreds as part of my job back on vancouver island, the pot of lead would be at 900 + degrees and 39 degrees outside temp......hot and sweaty work  i don't miss......

From my research the hillbillies copied yall ,many being of Irish decent.

They simply used what was available which was corn.

My mate went to Ireland years ago to visit family. When he asked about Poitin, he was told 'we don't know about that around here' - the next morning, there was a couple of bottles of it on his doorstep.

 

He rang me that night - I couldn't understand a feckin word he said

Sometimes with the shine you could double distill it to produce around 90% alcohol.Some call it rocket fuel as it will burn clearthis is white lightning in my opinion. We used it to make what's called apple pie.Its a drink. recipes online I'm sure.Was this  type of thing done on y'all's side to up the octane sort to speak?

When I moved here everyone was raving about poutine. I was like YES moonshine bring it on

until someone explained its fckn chips gravy and cheese curds. Sooo much disappointment 

 

my mates missus brews hooch and keeps it at the 40% mark. Jesus have I been wrecked on that. 
I have one photo of me after a sess and I looked like I have had a stroke
