GL reckon it's a Charcoal Burner or a Brittle Gill mate. One of the Russula's. May be Russula Parazurea looking at one of my books. My mate eats the Charcoal Burner's.

Cheers mate picked this critter off one of my fields where I collect most of my horse / field mushrooms. Thinking it’s a false death cap ?

Starting early this year, must be all the rain.  I now think this is the Ruby Bolete and not the Red Cracking Bolete, not for eating. Cheers Arry

Just got back from the fishing comp and a bit knackered but I know there would be a bit of Fungi about after this drop of rain the last week. So went for a short mooch , good job would have missed the

I grew this reishi on wood chip from my hazel coppice

Does it look the same and a Field Mushroom on top? I picked one the other day if it is. Think your right if it is the same on top.

Missed a load of Ceps in a spot I found today all gone over. I took this picture as beside the manky Cep you will see 2 white mushrooms that I'm 99% sure are "The Miller". Now on the places I find Cep's local where ever I find Ceps I find Miller's, in fact the millers come first. So if I find Millers under a Oak or on bank I keep going back.

Absolutely  mate well underwater, thats what I'm pointing out. Its surprising how it survives there. If you look carefully at the bottom of that dead stick you can see a Bolete.
