Starting early this year, must be all the rain.  I now think this is the Ruby Bolete and not the Red Cracking Bolete, not for eating. Cheers Arry  

Just got back from the fishing comp and a bit knackered but I know there would be a bit of Fungi about after this drop of rain the last week. So went for a short mooch , good job would have missed the

I grew this reishi on wood chip from my hazel coppice

Sulphur Tuft or Brick Caps I would say mate, both no good.

Had a half good picking today but the  rain had whopped them as well as the Bullocks, the place i went all ways throws big un's but not this early in the season, gave some away had some for dinner and made a few Bob and thats the name of the game .

Liberty caps usually grow were there are sheep grazing for some reason, there is an imitation one that looks the same but does not give you a buzz but has no negative effects, thankfully as I,ve ate lots ??

Yes mate Dryads Saddle Cut the young ones mate. Seen a big one the other day growing on a stump near town centre. Few other fungi about will get out for a look about after the blow calms  down.
