This was late last year I got interested in medicinal mushrooms ?

And I’ve actually just started an online site selling some powders

Really interesting have you grown "Maitake" (Hen of the Woods)? Supposed to have good properties. Also I'm quite interested in Birch Polypore which has all sorts of anti septic, anti cancer and many more properties.

The brown one is a Bolete, I need to see underside. If it has no red on it and does go NOT blue when cut is edible. One last check and this might sound mad but lick the cut bolete, this is to check that its not a Bitter Bolete not poisonous but will ruin any dish.

The others are the Birch Polypore a very interesting fungi with a lot of good properties, anti cancer, anti septic, anti fungal and many more.

Well not found Hen of the Woods this year myself but my mate dropped some around, one of my favourites. Keep an eye out at the base of Oak and Chestnut Trees.

Hen of the Wood you can cook with a mix of mushrooms in the frying pan had some in a stew last night, they keep for a long time and hold they're texture. Will have some tonight with Steak. Also known as Maitake supposed to have medicinal properties.

Better picture from last year.

Think the bottom one of your pictures is Sulphur Tuft Not good poisonous.

Next two up could be Honey Fungus / Bootlace Fungus edible I have never bothered with it as they say it taste astringent.

https://www.wildfooduk.com/mushroom-guide/honey-fungus/

Not sure what the top one is but would not be eating it.

Any one got an idea what these are they have just popped up in my front garden I’ve had a look at the mushroom guide and it’s glistening inkcap not poisonous or Sulphur tuft poisonous that look the closest they smell like an ordinary field mushroom and the gills are similar to a field mushroom. ADF0A4C9-D1C3-41DF-95BD-58B6972BECF4.jpeg.f84d299f4d6ec8b773229bad0e155860.jpeg4E490A19-7060-41E5-B65D-B095D224E07F.jpeg.2ad7245d2b59f781afc5ccf7ecedf3e8.jpeg11E752E0-8D94-4002-BB1E-428F893B04D7.jpeg.da79b3e43f65ba293420dc11ad1be32c.jpeg

Cheers Arry

Thanks a lot Arry I was erring on the Sulphur tuft I wasn’t aware of Brick Caps as they are not in that guide you put up a while ago they look very similar,  but nice to see them pop up though we’ve never had them here before.
