I had another "clear out" today. A clear out tending to be hours spent pulling things out of storage, getting rid of 0.1% and then just moving stuff about and storing in different places. Came across these that I had forgotten about. Some good articles and photographs. Did not last long though. Probably an ED-RD prototype.

Used to be able to buy working terrier and running dog from newsagents and wh smiths, how times have changed, my mates t work used to piss themselves when i bought it and read it on the way to and from work

WHS in Newcastle used to stock hunting/shooting mags in the hobby section. Then they moved onto top shelf. Went in one day looking for something worth reading and after hunting among Razzle and such like and gay sex mags and getting funny looks from other shoppers I asked an assistant where do you keep Airgun World now? She replied "we don't sell those sorts of magazines anymore"

Think i got a couple of them knocking about still somewhere ? Remember one article with sammy vaughn biggin up his best pal from our patch , it was most amusing as this fella was a well known around the show rings but as a hunter was a well known bullshitter ?

Good mag back In the day as was shooting news shame both gone.

As said how times have changed in this country n don't even shelv hunting mags in newsagents quite sad really.

As I was scanning the Gould article for Sid g thought the advert on next page may be of interest, there has also been recent controversy even when it come to names given to black dogs

Just in case anyone does find the name of the terrier above offensive the way that the word has been spelt means the "i" is pronounced as it would be in the name Nigel.

did the 2 year old black  terrier at stud belong to gould, and how good did it become when mature, and I  wonder what terrier lads think of such a young dog being at stud.
