Never had any idea about them until a short a while back when someone else posted something.

I'd be pleased to hear about success or otherwise!

Cheers

Nothing on the trail camera yet. Its not really stinking yet though.

Mine is in a free range chicken run that a fox  visits often.

I was there until midnight last night and there at 3:15 am.....nothing??

Well our first shoot of the year went well. It was cold but dry and a bit of sun appeared. Bag was 122 head comprising of 57 duck 56 pheasant 7 partridge and 2 pigeon. My own contribution wa

It’s been frosty the last couple of mornings, it’s very welcome , hopefully it will kill a few bugs . Unfortunately the Maize and cover crops don’t like it and they will soon be unviable as a drive .

A quick run up to the shoot this evening to start baiting a ride over the piggeries with some smelly stuff, my plan was to go up Saturday night to see if anything could be temped out onto the ride, I’m now having second thoughts because the flies were insane, I’m back out on the moor tomorrow night after them rabbits and I’ll definitely be bathing in jungle juice before I go out

Was at a bbq last night with a few mates who beat for the big estate shoot where I live, we were talking about the charity clay shoot that happened a few weeks back!

I nearly fell over when me mate bought out a letter of thanks saying how much they had raised.

I wanted a 177 air rifle again and stumbled upon a mint like new Walther Terrus.

It's quite good but the trigger was to heavy, probably 3.5lb.

On inspecting it was clear that the sears were in fact hooks!

I stoned them but not much, barely discernable to the eye. It's probably 2.5lb and a slightly cleaner break. I'll see how it goes.

35yds off hand neck shot.

Back up on the moor after a few rabbits and my god I needed the walk out after this week, I’m really enjoying the .22 at the minute and pushing it further than I would normally, it was a modest count of 43 rabbits this evening as we spent quite a lot of time enjoying the oystercatchers, lapwing and curlews, these are the things you can enjoy when predators are controlled so up yours Packham ?
