Dervburner 2,548
An old mate of mine had a mk1 XR2 in black, I think that was a Y reg. He rolled it down a ditch on the track to his girlfriends dads farm. It didn’t bother him, nothing did, he just laughed about it........ Quote Link to post

shovel leaner 7,648
I couldn’t get on here for a few days , don’t know what happened. I was wondering what happened to FH , glad to here you are still drawing breath . I went to a cremation on Friday for a very good friends wife . I don’t normally display my emotions ( stiff upper lip) but when someone who was 48 dies leaving a husband children and parents, I defy anyone not crack . Glad to see everything is still going along as it should. I didn’t realise it but when I couldn’t get on here I was at a big of a loose end , I even talked to the Mrs and daughter, and went on a walk , without a gun , just the dogs and not even going anywhere, just a walk to have exercise!!!! Unheard of !!! 6 Quote Link to post

FOXHUNTER 5,020
Illness and death certainly makes you reflect on things SL. This Covid has been awful but hopefully over the worst now , I am just fatigued and need to build up strength. Once I'm better I am making a list of places to visit this year hopefully if we are allowed and I must have a weekend stalking in Gloucestershire as never been before. Never been to Wales either so am going there too and will also be visiting Scotland. 5 Quote Link to post

I think with the way things have been for the last 10 months we should all make the most of life, it’s shown us you don’t know what’s around the corner, I can’t wait until we go back to normal and I can go down to Lincolnshire for a full weekend fox shooting and I can bother people like your good self to show me the way of the deer ( I’ve just go another farm for foxes and roe ) 1 Quote Link to post

I never used to take pictures of my cars and bikes because it was before digital cameras, so theses are all I’ve got ( I think )I know it’s nowt to do with this but it’s a bit of nostalgia for me on a wet miserable day they will be from mid 90’s to early 2000’s my Suzuki RMX 250, think it was a 94’ my Honda CR250, think it was a 96’ my stunning MK1 fiesta XR2, Y reg, completely standard, I sold it for £1000, to buy a sofa for mine and the missus first house, I dread to think what that car would be worth now in that condition my MK5 escort RS2000 is in the background ( a car from when Ford gave up making good cars ) I used to have a Kawasaki 750 Turbo Stav there fetching between £15/20 grand and all the RD 2 strokes well if I’d kept them I could have retired years ago lol... Thinking about it we’ve all got stuff now that is going to be future treasure it’s knowing what stuff. Quote Link to post
Stavross 13,713
Every time I’ve been there fox shooting I’ve seen between 2 and 7, they can be tricky to get near because they tend to see you across the field. We’ll have to have a night after foxes on his land when we are allowed, he has hundreds of acres in different places, but are all within 5 minutes drive of each other Quote Link to post
