Will be good to see newcastle doing well so long as its managed right.  Its all well and good saying keep Bruce and it would be a nice sentiment but you need a manager to entice the top players in and i dont see bruce being able to do that

They should never have let Rafa leave. A top manager who was prepared to put his reputation on the line and stay with a relegated club should have been kept on.

I could never understand how they got him in . But in the same vein as pochettino if you have a owner (ashley/levy) who wont open the purse strings you will find it very hard to push forward a great deal . Especially when the top clubs can and will spend 50m on a player who might not make it . Im a utd fan and at one point i thought fred was shot . As it is hes come decent but that was 50m on a player taking a chance.  Poccettino at spurs could really have done with a few real goid signings to push team forward and see what they can do . Now they got players who dont want to be there and Mourinho will drsin the life out of the rest.   Wouldnt suprise me if poccettino gets toon job that coloccini gets in there somewhere coaching
