MOT’s extended for 6 months

DVSA have been trying to raise MOT testing from 1 year to 2 years  before this  , the IMI and other motoring  organisations want it left at 1 year which makes sense  .As regards the 6 month extension you have to keep your car legal and fully roadworthy

You do at all times anyway ..an MOT only means an inspector as found it legal and roadworthy at that time .

 

We've had extensions to Mots here a few month back because all the car lifts in the not stations were unsafe to be used , some probably won't have Mots on there cars for near a year
