Has anyone found it a struggle to get paid? Finished a lot of jobs and worked my bollocks off as I knew this was coming but now I want paying some (not all) seem to want to use this as an excuse not to pay. I get it these are uncertain times but work has been done and I have paid my blokes etc and those invoices need paying but I can feel it’s going to be a struggle with some. Especially as a sub contractor for some of the jobs as these companies also operate on cash flow and that has dried up from them.

It's the Mrs crunshing the toast that's getting to me and the way she slices the bread must be at least a 45degree angle

Myself and my goid lady wife are the same, been together for nearly 30 years, and never been apart, we get on great, never argue or row, we're both on the same page with every thing in our lives.

Atb j

Oh I can’t say we are on the same page about everything and have never had a row .......we are quiet different really but it sort of works.

I can be the worlds most belligerent prick but we are the “have a big ruck and get it all out there then forget it” type.

You based in Nevada mate ?

Southern Utah but I'm in and out of Nevada 5-6 days a week at the moment. Last week Governor Sisolak order a 30 suspension on gambling in the state and designation of closure of non-essential businesses. As a result practically everywhere is shut.

I posted in another thread we were able to drive a truck up Freemont St two Friday nights on the trot and the only cars we saw were LVMPD. It's surreal as you'd struggle walking up them on a Friday night never mind driving a 15 tonne truck! We hit every green light too.

It looked almost like the mob had only just set up shop as opposed to it being the bustling tourist destination it's known for.

Must be pretty cool to see. Was hoping to go back to vegas october but with other stuff pushed back that's out the window.

Are all the casino lights off? That would be weird. What about the homeless when we turned off Fremont at the golden nugget to walk to the general gambling store place was littered with homeless?

Place is still lit up but it looks like the set of 28 Days Later! Driving up the covered part of the Freemont experience was something I'll never see again. Looks the same as you'd expect it to on a Friday night but all the people were teleported out!

I haven't mate but I was hoping to give him a ring this week while I'm off work. The Scarlet Fell-pernel is a tough one to track down. I'll have to see if the anti-sites have an update on his whereabouts!

Me and my Mrs are a bit odd I suppose in that we moved in together after about 2 weeks of meeting and have hardly had a day apart in 25 years, before kids it was fairly standard in as much as she went to her work and I went to mine type thing but as soon as we had kids she came to work for me and we have spent almost every single day in each other’s company for the last 18 years !!

So for us, it’s business as usual !

This is the second go at marriage for both of us and we dont have kids together but its only now im realising just how f****n hard marriage is ! ....its always been great before but now we are passing each other in the hallway with a look of " oh no not you again " ?.....a couple of times we,ve just looked at each other and burst into laughter because we dont know what to talk about next its like we've just started dating again ?....we often get like this when we go on holiday after a few weeks its like we both cant wait to get back to our pals and do normal stuff again.....it dont help that ive got a dicky elbow and cant train at the moment....while shes darting about doing all her usual Bizzy Lizzy nonsense !

Anyway on the plus side shes managed to find me the Belarus football league on some internet site which is apparently the only league in the world thats still playing.... my adopted team is FK Isloc and we beat Smolevichi 1 nil today which is just as well as we hate them wankers.

I've read the comments remotely on this over that last few weeks even though I've not had the time to log in and post any. Is containment even possible at this point or are we simply delaying the inevitable and trying not to overload the EMS?

That's pish. I had a holiday booked, boxing tickets and a few concerts.  All ruined cos some idiot ate a bat and a load of other idiots cant follow simple instructions to stay at home and away from others.

Looking at the news cycles in the last 5 years and some of the out right shite reported/posted/circulated is anyone surprised? I'm curious as to why the anti-vaxxers are so f*ck*ng quiet and whether they're reevaluating their batsh*t (pun intended) stance? Will they allow the true believers to get their jabs? :hmm:
