And rightly so for the reasons I've mentioned, our infrastructure is at full capacity roads have been sidelined, but how could people forget so soon that this recession was caused by the banking crisis caused by corrupt banks and government, the amount Gordon brown bailed them out won't ever be revealed even under the 100 yr secrecy act. If people have forgotten this as they forgot the decimalisation scam and multiple harvesting of public money by the elite.

So how do you explain the similar black holes is almost every other western county's economies that have the same rates of tax as the UK?  The situation is far bigger and far more complicated than you believe.

Banks , banks, banks , I really don't feel that taxing general public to an even greater extent is the answer. You don't know me or what I believe, I find it disgusting that you want to take money from the hardest working of society . That's your opinion this is mine , there's no debate here so you have yours and I'll have mine cheers ...

Take a breath Joe and do a lap of the garden...?

Had a mate ring me today from prison, he said he has never known so many cons wanting to go into solitary lol. Not a good time to be inside if this fecking thing takes hold..............mind you I could think of a few cons to give to

You say that but its only really staff who are a risk to prisoners... its probably one of the safest places to be as long as visits are stopped, which im told most prisons have already done.

Now you are making things up. Always a sign of a debate lost. Don't put words I haven't said into my mouth. If you have any facts or evidence to back up your claims then I am sure that you would have posted them.

You blame the banks all you want. And there is some element of that in the UK's position. And Bliar's PFI policies are bleeding health and education dry. But every country hasn't had the same issues with banks and PFI as the UK has. But they all have ageing populations, increased demands on benefits systems, health care, education, transport and all the rest. That is a world-wide phenomenon. There aren't enough people paying in to support those who can't or won't pay in, so something has to give. You either increase taxation or reduce services further and before you suggest taxing companies more just consider who is the end loser - the consumer. You either pay more over the till or in tax it is that simple.

It's already in the system Ray. 19 confirmed cases across 10 prisons and 1 death, the death which occurred won't get much sympathy  he was an 87 yr old child molester. Not quite sure what they would do should high risk prisoners get it, do they release guards to escort them to hospital and stay with them for security purposes or send them to the block and leave them in the hand of god?

My daughters In the prison service and her prison stopped all visits last Saturday which resulted in a riot and her having to go to hospital with a suspected broken arm.
